How to do deal with all these suits of armor
I've always liked keeping multiple sets of elite armor, each with a slightly different rune/insignia configuration, but they take up a lot of room - too much room, in fact. Why not have something like the Festival Hat Maker, only for armor? You could make it a new GW:EN feature. Basically, you record your elite armor in Hall of Monuments and then, voila, talk to the Monument Armor Maker and he can create for you a full suit of whatever armor you have on record. Armor created this way, obviously, couldn't be sold or salvaged.
Now that we have Perfect Salvage Kits, runes and insignias are no longer "married" to one suit, so, honestly, I can no longer justify keeping all of these extra suits. Why not let me have it both ways? You could have Monument Armor Maker charge a reasonable fee, and in so doing take some money out of the economy. I, in the meanwhile, get my storage back.

This has been mentioned somewhere else, I believe, although the mention may not have been specifically in a topic devoted to exactly this idea as described.
An Armorer of this sort would make a lot of sense, as we are encouraged to place more than one suit of armor into the HoM, as well as it simply being a natural thing to want a suit or two from each chapter/expansion or something new as time goes on. Problems arise quickly as to where to put all of it. Treya has five and would like more. Hers basically fills a panel in my Storage, but multiple armors on other characters contribute to filling inventory on the other characters, in addition to their weapon sets. Then we have the head pieces... I've salvaged some 3-4 15k sets on other characters regrettably. Wish I hadnt done that in retrospect, but I didnt have a lot of options at the time.
For the love of Balthazar, Anet, please do something about this.

anything to clear the storage, except sigil for the time being has my votes
i think storage is the main reason most of my character are wearing 1.5k Dock armor. Because, I am thinking what if I ran out of storage and I want that oh so shining new armor, Do i trash this once oh so shining armor that cos me 15k a piece to craft? and days to farm for gold to get?
Hurray for Dock Armor! lol, can trash them anytime without second thought.

Nice idea. I carry my spare armour in my bag, don't have room for it in my chest. That limits what I can pick up.

Keeps the load out of our storage. Keeps the mules out of our usable character slots...

My main has 6 sets of used armor, my Dervish has 2 sets, my Sin has 2 sets, and that's a crapton of my storage gone. I may want Elite Cabal sometime, but thanks to the fact that Box IV is totally full already, I don't want to take up even more space I don't have.

Using other characters (mules) to store armors for the playable characters is ridiculous and nothing has been done about it.
This idea is pretty reasonable and makes a lot of sense. It may need some tweaks and details (duplicating any number of armors or just putting the set in and out? Make the system remember every detail about the armor - mods and dyes or reproduce just a clean set?) but the general idea is great.

something this way I've already suggested several times ...*cough*... while writing about unused potentical of the Hall of Monuments ... and that the HoM is THE solution of many other problems of GW, like Pet Storage too, which could work in the same way by Monumental Records...
use search XD

Yeah. Almost no ones makes the same for the same character twice. So, if you remove the need of storage for armor. Ding. You make people pay for more and more armor.
HUGE gold sink!
The only reason I have one single set in each of my 10 characters is that I have no place to put more for them.

We really just need general armor storage. I've tried to do the thing where you just have headpieces with different Sup Runes on them but sometimes you have to make an entire new armor set(i.e. 55 armor).
/signed...even if it is just for prestige armor

I did use search, but I guess I'm not very good at searching. And yeah, I guess I missed the broader application of pet storage. HoM could indeed serve as a pet and minipet stable. However, it makes more sense to store armor in a trophy cabinet than it does to a store an animal in there. Especially since my pet, as he appears in the HoM, is a statue (not that the armor isn't as well, but I digress.) Of course, on the other hand, a stone pet is probably a lot easier to care for and clean up after.
I see your point though. The HoM records things, so, why not take it one step further and allow it to recreate those things which it stores?
